Hey everyone
Im 12w 3d preggo with my first baby.
For about a week and a half now ive been suffering the most horrendous migraines and neck pain. I dont have high blood pressure and dr says its just hormones causing it.
I am in agony.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so what did you do and when did it stop
Help!

Ugh, I suffer from bad headaches as well. :( I notice that for me they come in waves, as in, headaches every day for a few weeks and then nothing for a month, and then another wave of headaches, which makes sense since hormones levels keep shifting during pregnancy.

I usually take Tylenol if it gets bad, but sometimes that doesn't help either. I also use essential oils when I want to avoid Tylenol (doTerra has one called "Past Tense" that works for me sometimes).

I haven't had a migraine in a couple weeks, but I get headaches and neck pain constantly. I normally take Tylenol if it gets too bad, lay in bed with a cool rag over my eyes, and/or take a warm shower and let the water hit my neck(I have a massager head on my shower) My doctor also said in cases of a migraine, I can take something with caffeine in it with my Tylenol(coffee or hot tea is what I use), as it will help as well.

I have been getting the same! The only thing that works for me is panadol together with some caffein - so I either had a coffee or some coke. I know it's not ideal but it's the only thing that helps!

I've had pretty bad migraines and neck pain on and off throughout my pregnancy. The last blur lasted a whole week and was a nightmare. There's nothing really we can do except grin and bear it! :-(

I struggle with this as well. Everyone would constantly tell me to hydrate, and I was sure that I was... turns out pregnant women are recommended to have almost 3L of water a day- and I was nowhere close to that. The more water I drink, the better I feel. But- I still get them.

People recommended all kinds of things- most of which I haven't tried. (I usually drink a ton of water, take some tylenol, and hide under sheets in a dark room for hours.)
They said try massages, ice pack on temples/back of neck, putting feet in hot tub for a while to try to draw blood away, eating a tablespoon of coconut oil, peppermint oil on temples, yoga, a cup of coffee... I can't vouch for any of those though!

I got bad enough migraines that my doctor prescribed me butalbital I hate that I have to take it but as long as I take once daily I end up ok. Otherwise I get migraines that last days at a time where even light just kills me.

Thanks for your replies ladies..went to the chiropractor today and apparently my migraines may be caused by low blood sugar. As im suffering morning sickness and not eating enough hmmm its possible I guess.
Ice found a dark room and ice pack on the back of my neck the best. Theres no way im getting 3lts water per day! Ill have to try n up my water lol

i had bad headaches dunno if migraines but i had get stronger meds frm ob as parcemol dosent work on me. I think with my first the lessend by 20wks. My 2nd preg i had high bp so dnt think they actually went
