I have had NO morning sickness at all for my entire pregnancy. After breakfast I suddenly felt very nauseous like I was going to bring something up. I went to the washroom and threw up 3-4 times. No coughing or anything involved, it came out easily. At the end the vomit was streaked with blood. Every time I coughed after that some phlegm would come up spotted with bright red blood. Has anyone experienced this??

My doctor's office only opens in an hour, and I plan on calling as soon as I can.

I've never heard of this, but very glad to know you are going to the doctors, please update and I hope everything is okay XXXX

This is odd since you don't have ms. Though, you did vomit multiple times. I had ms with this pregnancy and one morning I vomited multiple times. I had a bit of blood in it at the end. My ob said it was normal when you strain your stomach so many times in a row like that. Hopefully all turns out well for you! I know bleeding is scary, but in some cases it's completely normal during pregnancy. Keep us posted!

Oh my goodness ... are you sure you don't maybe have food poisoning ?

Hope you're ok - Keep your fluids up and electrolytes, that sounds like a lot of vomiting.... Pls let us know how the doc visit goes!

Thanks ladies. My Dr's office has been closed for the past two weeks for holidays and today is the first day they are back so it's been nearly impossible for me to get through to them. I've been getting a busy signal for the past 2.5 hours! I feel ok now, just a bit nauseous. I don't want to go to the emergency room because I feel like the risk of being around all the sick people there is greater than whatever is going on with me. I'll keep you posted when I know more.

Didnt want to read and run, you have probably torn something as a result of vomiting, go see the doctor anyway! Let us know!

I was sick yesterday and had a little bright red blood. .I had a look online and it's common to have this and is caused by irritation of the throat, so long as it's less than a teaspoon there's no need for concern. .so I read. Always best to check with a doctor though xx

I've had this. Doctor and midwife said normal as long as it's a small amount. I now take Omeprazole.

I've also had this and had a checked out by the doctor and they said that I had strained my stomach, obviously being sick and bringing acid up from the stomach can irritate the throat.
