Hello,

Just started cycle 14 for TTC #1. Had a normal ultrasound and just got my
cd21 Blood Work faxed to me today, also have SA results here but don't really know what to make of them.

I am 34 and DH is going to be 36 next month. Niether one of has ever had a BFP.

His sperm count is:
45 mil/6.5 volume

51% non-motile 0x, Non-progressive 1x: 1, slow forward 2x: 1, rapid forward 3x: 6, rapid straight 4x: 41, motility index score: 185

Normal Oval Format: 35

comments: mod midpiece defects, bent tails; neg. antisperm antipbody

As for me, CD21:

Progesterone: 15.50 ng/ml
FSH: 2.52 mIU/ml
Prolactin: 7.67 ng/ml
Testeosterone, serum: 43 NG/DL
TSH: .83 mg/dl

Thank you very much girls.

Hi titi

the measurement in the US are different, In the uk prog is measured in pmol.
try this website i think its USA measurements

https://www.fertilityplus.org/faq/hormonelevels.html#female

cant help with the SA. hope that helps x

I cant see anything that would count as a problem hon :)

Thank you muncho & sparkle!

They all sound pretty good to me (don't know much about the SA but I researched the day 21 tests for my own results).
FSH is very low which shows you have an excellent ovarian reserve ie. lots and lots of eggies left to try with. Even better than my 5.8 at 29 years old
The progesterone level is nice and high too!
Doesn't look like you have thyroid problems either....very good.

2016-Thanks for looking! Thankful finally for some good news TTC-BFP surely waiting for me somewhere!!!!! My Biggest fear was the hurry-like there wasn't enough time at my age for it to take this long. If I have lots of eggies left tho I feel a lot less pressured. :hugs:

Hi hun, I can't believe you were just faxed this info without them calling you in to explain everything.

hey you xxx

I'm just looking at your mans S/A (I posted my blood results in teh love bumps lt thread)

but... I can't fathom out your results... is the count 45,000 per ml? if that's it then that's good - anything over 14,000 is good - I think?!
the rapid progression isnt good - does that mean that 51% are non-motile?
that'd be pretty pants...

Overall looks like you're OK but the :spermy: aren't so hot.
Just like me and my man... so snap all over again.
Hope its just the way I'm reading it....

My man got...
0% rapid progression
56% slow progression
21% no progression
23% immotile

Thanks Girls-

Well-the SA was sent to our primary care dr. who tried to go over it with us but I'm not sure he knew that much. DCount was 45 million/ML ? and Yes-51% non-motile. The primary thought that was pants too-which is why were are assuming we aren't pg yet.....except my fax says anything less than 50% is normal so maybe he is only 1% off and that's not too bad?

So-not too good at understanding this-Your man's seems to be better than mine-are you on cycle 14 too?
And my Gyn. who does not specialize in fertility at all had the cd21 bloods drawn and did call to say they were all "normal"-I did ask for a fax so I could analize them. I'm sure a FS would really help but it's all cash here in the states so we've been going through our primary and GYN so insurance will cover until we absolutely need to go to FS.
