I woke up at 5am with both of my legs cramped. I got 1 to let go, but the other leg took nearly 20* minutes. It was so painful.
I had to stay in an a comfortable position holding it down and started relaxing my body and big deep breaths instead of tensing with pain.
Am I lacking in something???

When you get cramps, flex your toes up. That will help alleviate the pain and make the cramp go away almost instantly. The cause is usually a deficiency in magnesium or potassium. Try taking some magnesium (Natural Vitality Natural Calm is my favorite) or eating a banana before bed. If one doesn't help, the deficiency is probably the other. They do suck though. I've gotten them too and now I just drink the magnesium twice a day and haven't gotten them since.

It would have to be magnesium. Thanks ladies, I eat bananas everyday.
Will up my magnesium intake. Thank you ladies xxx

Magnesium helped me, as did stretching my calves every night before bed.

Also, if one does start, it really helps me to use a heating pad or take a bath with Epsom salt!
