Hey everyone, my name's Ella, I'm 16 and I live in the East Mids, UK. I'm not currently pregnant, or even trying to get pregnant, I'm only 16 (and I don't personally feel anywhere near ready!) but someone I know recently came out that she is pregnant and she is my age... I just wanted to get other people's perspective on their own pregnancies, especially other teens, so that I could kind of understand what she is going through (as I clearly can't) ... Thanks! xx

hya and welcome im sarah and im 16 yrs old nd 32+2 weeks pregnant xxx

hey Sarah :) how are you feeling? in general and stuff?

Im okie except feeling drowsy e.t.c due to my iron levels going down. Just cant wait till hes here now :) how are you? xxx

I'm really good thanks, even though I'm not pregnant, I'm totally loving this site!! Haha :) how did you feel when you first found out you were pregnant? xx

glad to hear your okie :).... i went to the family planning clinc by myself when i thought i was pregnant due to my boyfriend being at work. I was sitting there for ages waiting to be called in she said my name i was so scared then i went in she asked me a couple of questions then asked me to do a wee sample. She then got a pregnancy test out and she lifted it up and said what would you do if you was pregnant and i goes i dont know and she goes your pregnant. i turned round and said are you lying she said im not aloud to lie. i walked to my bfs work and told him, for the first couple of weeks i dident believe i was pregnant i was still in shock i kept saying to my bf i saw the lines on the test she said i am pregnant but it just wouldnt sink in intill i had my scan. xxx

Aww, you're so brave! I just feel so much respect for everyone on this forum because I'm 16, and I have no idea what I would do if I was pregnant!! After you got over the shock, was it just like, excitement? Or were you nervous about telling your family? xx

I'm sorry to interrupt but for a sec I thought you're also one of those girls who are planning at age 16...phew!

Love kids but wait for them!:hugs:

thanks i was nervous about telling my family.....i live with my boyfriend so my bf told his parents first. Then i told my dad and then my mum xxx

Oh right, that's great that you're living with your bf :) had you two talked about kids?

and no Nikki, I do love kids, but I wanna get my education and partying out the way first :D

nah we hadent we hadent been going out long when i fell pregnant but now we are both excited about jayden-lee coming xxx

I'm really happy for you hun :) do you not miss going out with your mates and stuff though? xx

Hi Rachel, congratulations! :) how are you? xx

doing ok i guess, feeling a little emotional after watchin corrie! haha how r u ?x

Haha! I'm good thanks, stressed out over Italian coursework and an English essay due in tomorrow but I'm good! How are you finding coping with school and dealing with your pregnancy? xx

Do you feel like you're getting enough support from friends and family, etc? xx

most of them are gradually getting there. i have lost some mates (or who i thought were my mates) but at the end of the day i can get new mates but this is my baby! who il have for the rest of my life which is the most amazin feelin in the world

That's great, Rachel :)

There's so much bad press in the news about teenage mothers, but from what I can see on these forums, all the teenage mothers/mothers-to-be seem responsible and have a lot of support, though the pregnancy may not have been planned. xx
