Hi everyone
Just wondering if any of you have got any advice or success stories or just info about taking clomid please as going to ask my doctor about it next week as I've read on the internet about it and it said to ask for it if you have irregular and painful periods and if you have gone through a miscarriage just wanted your view if possible like
How long did it take you to get pregnant when taking it?
Any side effects?
Is it worth it? Etc etc etc

I started clomid after 7 months of tracking cycles and ovulation before seeing the dr. They say if your under 35 to wait and see the dr after one year ttc. 35 an older they say six months.

I went to the dr when I was 25 before the year mark because I could never confirm ovulation. Because I did that they started me on clomid right away. (Typically they have you temp and track before starting clomid) and you really only want to take it if your not ovulating or ovulating late.

I'd recommend temping to confirm o and possibly getting some opks to confirm. Track that for your dr and if you don't ovulate clomid might be a good first step. I got pregnant after 5 rounds but I was not ovulating at all before taking it. I miscarried due to what we now believe was low progesterone.

My symptoms got stronger every month. Side effects were mostly hot flashes and some months extreme irritability, and emotional over nothing. To me it was worth it to get pregnant because I would not ovulate other wise. It made my periods worse, or from what the dr told me, they were normal and what it should feel like. I'd never had cramps or painful periods prior.
