Hello!
I'm Amanda.
This is my TTC story (the short version)

Began TTC: October 09
I got pregnant our first try and miscarried naturally in November I should've been 6 weeks along but the U/S showed no baby although my HCG levels were in the 2000's

First period post-miscarriage: December 23rd
We tried again and got pregnant first try, things were going well until we saw no heartbeat at 6.5 and 7.5 weeks so we waited to miscarry didn't happen so I had a D&C on March 2nd.

First post D&C AF: March 28th
2nd post D&C AF: Arrived yesterday 4/20

We'll be trying again next cycle. I'm excited but extremely nervous. I've been searching and searching for answers. Im getting a progesterone level blood draw on May 7th at 5-7 dpo. Buying FSH at home test next cycle and getting my thyroid checked on Friday. If everything comes back fine we'll be trying again as scheduled.

Hey Alouise

My name is Helen - I mc at 7-8 weeks mid December - I think this was due to my pcos - we're now in the 4th cycle ttc - back on metformin and using cbfm, softcups, ferning microscope, pre-natal vits ( both me and oh!! ) in an endeavor to get pg and make sure we've done everything we can to have a healthy pg despite the pcos!!

I have also seen a speacialist and have had my lh/fsh/estradol tests done start of this cycle and will have my cd21 progesterone test end of april.

Hey Amanda, my name is Amanda too!

We started trying October 2007. After being on the pill for 17 years, my body took a looooong time to regulate. I got pregnant in October 2008. Ended up with a blood clot in my uterus. The baby was growing fine, but the clot knocked it out of place. Had my first mc Dec. 24, 2008. I was 10 weeks.

Got pregnant again in November 2009. From the beginning I was having weird pains and they thought it was a molar pregnancy. The insisted on a D&C which I had January 17, 2010. I was 6 weeks.

Just finished my second AF and will start trying again this cycle. I too am very nervous and excited. I've had all the tests done and everything looks normal. Hopefully this next one will stick.

I'm so sorry for your losses and hope that you get your sticky bean very soon. Welcome to this group...wish none of us had to be here, but glad we have each other.

Firslty sorry for your losses and fxed you get the ok to TTC soon.

I'm Louise, came off the pill in October 2009, and fell preganant in December 2009. All going well until 11 weeks when i started spotting. Had emergancy scan and found out i was carrying twins. Was sent home to rest but, started to miscarry two days later. TTC the next cycle, and had a chemical preg.

Just had AF this month (we did TTC last month but no luck) and hoping for a Jan baby now

Hi I am Debbie,

My story is pretty much the same as yours...

Was told as a kid would never have a baby, due to a defective X Chromosome...
Got married 10 years ago and stopped using protection 2 years later.... and nothing...
Jan 2006 moved to Germany and a routine med test showed my thyroid was underactive. Went on pills and 6 months later pregnant! M/C at 11 weeks and was devasted. I then m/c again with twins at 10 weeks in Nov 07 and then nothing...

Had a VERY stressful house move back to the UK end of Feb/beg Mar 10 and found out I was pregnant on 4 Apr. Complete shock! But VERY happy... early scan showed a very small baby and an odd shaped sac - Dr said it wasn't good but hcg levels were great ... so next scan Monday jsut gone.. agian not good, things had grown, but not enoug for the docs, so have another scan next Wed and if it is still not good I will have surgery.

Am very dispondant and don't hold out much hope... have had very slight brown spotting since scan that comes and goes... OH already is sure we are losing this one too.

They have said if I lose this one I will be tested.... don't know what to expect... am really worried this is due to my thyroid as no one has bothered to test it whilst I am pregnant and have heard that the thyroid levels can be screwed up during pregnancy and this can cause m/c....

Has anyone had the tests? What do they do and how long do they take?... Maybe a bit pessimistic of me to be thinking of this already....
