Hi all

We're new here and just wanted to say hi and inbtroduce ourselves. This seems like a great community here.

We are just coming up to our 5 year wedding anniversary and can't wait to start our family :0)

We were lucky enough to be accepted for IUI on the NHS back in January. Just had my test to check everything is working OK and have been put on the waitng list for IUI. We were told we just have to wait for a phone call now. We're very very excited and already getting ahead of ourselves! Haha.

Has anyone else been through/waiting to go through IUI on the NHS? We're not really sure what to expect from here.

Hiya and welcome. We did the same as you and had a really good experiance. So exciting. I remember it felt like ages waiting and then suddenly once the ball got rolling it happened really quickly. Enjoy the journey girls x

What area was the clinic you went through? Was it a good experience from the start?

We had a bit of trouble with them losing our notes and messing up a referral date for the hycosy procedure which was annoying because when we went for the initial consultation they told us it was a 6 month waiting list for treatment. That was in January, and we had to wait until July just for that test. Hopefully this will be quite quick now as they're backdating us on the waiting list. They were lovely at the clinic though and really friendly which was comforting! It seems to be all we talk about at the moment haha We really need to reel it in a bit until we have the call but it's so hard not to get excited!
