This is the first time I have been on this page :)
I had a miscarriage on August 19th
I'm hoping to get pregnant again soon, however we're barely trying :( but you never know huh?
I'm really worried I'll miscarry again. We were told it was just one of those things. Our baby must have given up hope very early on as I should have been around 10 weeks but the development was far from it. I'm getting very worried as this isn't my partners first miscarriage - he had one around 3 years ago and I have been reading about sperm being to blame and hereditary matters.... Is it possible for my partner and/or me to have chromosome abnormalities but both our parents didn't?? and if this was "just one of those things" how common will it be that it CAN happen again?
Also I had my period last on 22nd October - but it was late - it was due on 16/17th October so does this mean my cycle has now changed or should I expect it on its usual date?
Sorry with all the questions, its just I have sooo many questions and no one to talk to about it:sad2:
I wish everyone the very best

I am so sorry but I do not have the answers to your questions. I just wanted to say that I am so sorry for your loss. If you ever need to chat this the ladies on here are great. fingers x that you get your :bfp: soon. x

Hello

Welcome to B&B and sorry to hear about your loss.

This is my 2nd miscarriage this year. My partner of 9 years recently told me that his ex wife had around 4 or 5 miscarriages when they were together. I have been thinking the same thing as you. However, I am 37 and he is 44 so there is an age factor in all this. Also, I am O rhesus negative and he is O rhesus positive. Once I am feeling better, I am going to go to the doctors to see if they can do some investigating (I doubt they will as this is only my 2nd and they only usually do research after 3 in a row).

xxx

Ooooh Rumpskin that's awful! so sorry! so many factors :(
I hope you get the answers your looking for.
Take care

You too sweety. Bear in mind, we may never know. We just may have been unlucky this time around.

Good luck in ttc again xxx

I have had three in the last two years, but, my OB said that one, even two m/c are no cause for concern (although very heartwrenching). Less than 1% of women will have three or more in a row. Even then, of those 1% (which I am one of them), 60% will go on to have a normal successful pregnancy at some time...without ANY treatment. So, since you have had one, I would *try* not to worry too much. You still have a 80% chance of not m/c the next time, which is no different than if you have never had one. I can def relate to being worried about the future.

Im so sorry for your loss.
I dont have the answers but i just wanted to add my support. Much love :hugs:

Hey hun. I'm not much help but I just wanted to say I have the exact same fears. I am scared to even start seriously trying again because I don't want it to happen again. I lost mine in August as well. PM me if you ever need anything. :hugs: I'm sorry for your loss.
