I am currently 5dpo and my cervix is somewhat high and soft. What exactly does this mean?

Position of my cervix was all over the place during my cycles. For me, that wasn't a reliable indication of pregnancy.

It might be different for everyone, but for me it wouldn't have meant anything. My cervix moved all the time, and even in the same day it would go high and low.

Mine was all over the place too. I knew I was pregnant though when the opening turned towards my back. It just felt different. But mine was all over the place before my bfp.

High and soft is supposedly when you're fertile, high and soft is usually around ovulation, so it may be your cervix just hasn't closed after ovulation yet :) Although it is different for everyone and that's general.

Mine was soft and still a little open when I got my BFP at 12 DPO, I don't think it's a reliable indicator of pregnancy very early on.
