high blood pressure

I read this thread and a cold chill has gone through me. I hope and pray you've gone to the hospital as it sounds like you've gone into full HELLP, which should never have happened, you should have been medicated to bring it down. Make sure they do blood tests not just urine tests - I only got +++ protein once, the rest of the time it was at most ++, but my blood work showed a very, very different picture. Some women do not show pre-e or HELLP in their urine, I hope you and baby are okay.

What you are describing certainly sounds like pre eclamsia to me and its possible it could have progressed. I hope you have been seen and baby delivered safely, i truely hope all is well.

I had this with my last pregnancy. My BP rose from my normal 115/75 to about 140/95 from about 34 weeks, but the midwives let it slide. From 37 weeks I had days of reduced movements, but again they said it was 'normal' for this to happen.
At my 40 week appt my BP was 160/110 (I'd started to get headaches, nausea and visual disturbances in the couple of weeks leading up to this, but was told not to worry)
Anyway, based on my BP, I was immediately admitted, medicated and induced. My son was a bit on the skinny side (long, big head, but only 7lbs weight) and my fundal height never grew past 34-36 weeks (this was also ingnored by the mw's).
I can't help feeling I 'got away with it' but things could have been much worse!

Please get someone to take you seriously asap! You might just need some meds and rest to get you through the next few weeks!
