I found this site after googling on high NT results. Was wondering if anyone has any stories to share. I have read references to others on this site having a very high NT with positive outcomes, but can only find a few actual stories. I haven't gotten my actual percentage yet but I'm sure with this high result and combined with my age (40) it's going to be very high.

This pg has been so worrisome from the start. At 8.5 weeks I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma and I haven't stopped spotting/bleeding lightly since. It's been one thing after another. My pgs with my boys were relatively boring.

Hi, don't want to scare you but just want to share my own story xx
After my 12 wk scan our babys NT fold was 7.3 mm. Together with my blood test I came back as 1:5 chance and unfortunately I was the 1. After a CVS test our baby was diagnosed as having a severe heart condition and Down Syndrome. But having told my story I did search many, many cases on the internet where babys had worse odds and everything turned out fine so there is always hope xxx

Had a high measurement of 9.5mm, amnio came back negative, had scans on babys heart during pregnancy was told at first that one valve was slightly smaller, at the last scan they said everything appeared normal, had a normal delivery, but baby had a "dusky" episode and ended up in NICU he picked up well.. due to this stay he had a review when he was 5-6 weeks old where they then detected a heart murmer, since then he's had a scan and has shown that actually his valve actually is smaller and he'll have to have it fixed at St thomass in London, they have told us that there will be a 95% success rate and if worse comes to worse then he'd have to have surgery.

I'd of liked to been able to share a positive story, but hopefully he'll be a proper healthy baby soon.

Also with the 9.5mm measurement.. my little boy now has a fatty bit at the back of his neck! Which they have never seen before, but this has been check and it is just normal fat and nothing to worry about.

Thanks for your responses. Wish I had better news, unfortunately our babe had Trisomy 18.

Sorry to hear that xxx my heart goes out to you.

So sorry to hear that!!! We have recently been through a similar horrendous time.

Hope you are ok x x x x
