High temperature and refusing boob :-(

DS has had a high temperature since Wednesday evening and since yesterday is refusing to nurse. He is drinking water and he's ten months so I guess it's not the end of the world but it feels horrible. I want him to have the comfort if nothing else I've never had refusal before.. Dd fed for 14 months and we've been going ten months with DS. I expressed a load last night cos I was hurting and offered it to him. He took a little but wasn't fussed... So DD polished it off!!

Are you going to take him to the doctor? Well done for bfeeding that long too!

We don't have a dr available so would have to go ER (living in Saudi) so we're monitoring him close and keep fluids and paracetamol going. Aside from the temp and breast refusal he's not showing any other symptoms

We ended up in a&e last week with LO as he had a really high temp and wouldn't eat, turns out he had tonsilitis! Try and get him to take even just a spoon if water to keep him hydrated and take him to docs when you can x

He's drinking water fine... Lots of it.. But no food and no boob... Very off for my greedy boy
