Hi all so for the last 2 hrs iv noticed I have been getting on and off pain and an almost pressure like pain in my hips.. It's hard to describe other then it feels like the bones are being forced apart! Baby has dropped severely aswell and got back pain. It's not round ligament pain or sciatica what else could it Be???

Is your baby head down? Baby is pretty heavy at this point so the head pressing down in the pelvic area can make your hips hurt and cause pressure. I had lightning crotch with my previous pregnancies at around 34ish weeks.

It’s your baby trying to go head down. It’s very common at this point, don’t worry

It could be baby going head down. It can cause a lot of pressure and be very uncomfortable.

Sounds like its ure baby engaging.
And going head down.
Its very uncomfortable the last few weeks of pregnancy.
Babys head can grate on nerves as well which causes pain.
It mite be a bit sciatica to.
I had spd and sciatica with my son and cudnt put my foot to the floor.
Good luck.
Not long now hon

I have been having similar pressure in my pelvis area and lower back, when I saw the midwife yesterday she said it is pelvic girdle pain, I was advised to take regular paracetamol and rest when I can. I was also advised that a support belt may help to ease the pressure a bit.
