I have asked this in another thread but thought it might be more relevant in here. My ex wants to take Grace on holiday in the summer for a week. It was initially booked by his mum for us all to go and she might find altenative sleeping arrangements or something so I can still go as I am close to his family. However if I don't end up going which is probably the most likely situation how am I supposed to cope without Grace for an entire week? I've never been apart from her for 24 hours never mind a week.

Aww hun, I'm sure that will be hard, the longest ive been away from Jasmine is a night so I know I couldn't be apart from her for the week, why couldn't you go? do you have a friend that could stop with you?

I might be able to go. But if I can't all my friends are going to be away with their OH's so i will pretty much be on my own

Do you have to let her go, im not sure i would, but i dont no your situation or ex's family. x

I don't want her to go but my ex has been good to me and he doesn't see her often as he works silly hours and it would be nice for him to spend some proper time with her. I just really hope I can find some other way to go with them. I won't know what to do with myself!

It would be difficult if you arent used to being away from her. Ive got a holiday coming up in August and im going to have to leave Kyle for a week. It isnt so bad as im used to leaving him sometimes for 3 nights, depending on when his dads having him. Its really nice his mums doing that for you, I would love to have kept a good relationship with Johns family.

You never know, you might actually enjoy a wee weeks holiday from being mummy!
