I am thinking of going away for a short break in September for my partners 30th LO will be a year old so looking for toddler friendly places. Looked at the usual Baby Boltholes / Centre Parcs / Bluestone etc, and it's mega money!!

Just wondered if anyone knew of anything else?

We found our holiday last year through this website - it's full of baby and child friendly holidays. We stayed in a beautiful cottage in Devon and it was fully equipped with plastic bowls, plates, cutlery, little stool at the sink in the bathroom and they provided a travel cot, high chair and stairgate free of charge! It was on a farm where some old barns had been converted and that summer they had turned one into a play centre - downstairs there was a football table and books, upstairs was soft play, dressing up, play kitchen and a sofa and coffee making facilities for the parents!

This year we are going to Scarborough and staying on a caravan site. It's a small chain but the vans are all gold standard and it's cheaper than Haven/Park Resorts. www.flowerofmay.com
