Home Doppler @ 14 weeks 2 Days - Can't find Heartbeat

Hi Ladies,

Just want to ask if anyone has experience this. I had an anterior placenta covering OS when we did a scan at 13 weeks. The sonographer says the placenta will move and stretch away as the womb & baby grows.

I just bought a home doppler and was trying to find my baby heartbeat but can't find it at 14 weeks 2 days.. im not sure if the doppler can capture the heartbeat this early. Some says to use at 16 weeks.

Could my placenta placement cause this? Anyone has any advice or experience before?

My midwife struggled to get the heartbeat at 14 weeks when I had an anterior placenta. It's likely still difficult to find it that early.
