Homebirth of Evelyn Catherine Jones, born 12/7/12 :)

Just a quick note to say baby Evelyn Catherine Jones was born at 4.45am yesterday weighing 6lbs12oz. My waters broke at 11pm and contractions started pretty much straight away, although I was v confused as they felt more like pressure in my bum than 'tightenings'! Was checked at 2am and was already 4cm. Second midwife arrived (my mum acted as the first) with the g&a (amazing!) at 3ish and Evie was born at 4.45am after about an hour and half of pushing and was caught by my mum! OH cut the cord.
She's having problems latching but I'm expressing and syringe feeding at the mo. couldn't advocate home births enough!!
