Honest opinions on the name Leo

I really like this name and so does my OH - one name we do agree on finally.

I was thinking Leo John/jonathan Brookes or Leo Andrew Brookes.

I am just a bit concerned that other kids might take the mickey out of him, or it wil sound daft when he is an adult.

Can I have your honest opions please

Personally, I think Leo is a lovely name
And I really can't see why people would take the mickey, and I think the worry of it sounding daft when he grows up shouldn't be a problem - it might just seem a little strange for an adult now because it's quite a modern name, so there are few adults called Leo, but by the time your LO is grown up it won't be as rare

take the mickey or take the michael means to tease some one. I was worried someone might make nasty jokes about his name or something.

I guess because my name is Sarah Leigh like the cake maker over in the UK and everyone really used to tease me about that even though its spelt different. I hated it!!!
