I'm a single parent and my little man is due in Dec. I live in the UK and i'm really stuck with the names.....have to choose two names from this shortlist:

Amarah (means Gods grace)
Loiue (means renowned warrior)
Laiba (means angel from haven)
Leuan (means god is gracious)
Kymani ( Bob Marley's son name...don't know the meaning)

Which two would you prefer?

Definitely not Laiba it reminds me of lady bits... Sorry!

Amarah and Kymani are my favourites

there all pretty odd names and I have no idea how to pronounce them, I assume they're foreign but I wouldn't pair any of them, if your going for an unusual first name a more common 2nd name is wise

2nded that Laiba looks like labia

Kymani, I third the labia thing, and Amarah seems feminine to me.

Definitely not Laiba it reminds me of lady bits... Sorry!

this is exactly what I thought too

None of those names sounds very boyish to me but I think Loiue sounds like the best one to me x

I like Loiue. I also thought that about the labia thing! Sorry  x

is Loiue pronounce Lou-ee?

if it is then I like that and its a good name for your LO

I'm not sure how some of these names are pronounced so can't really give an opinion. Can you give us an idea of pronunciation?

The "k" one is best. The a one sounds like a girl and the one "l" one sounds like labia or something. Sorry Hun not a huge fan.

What are your name reqs? Certain type, religion? I have some odd names too that are Hebrew and have gotten not the most pos responses on the site :)

Go with your heart!

Amarah is a very feminine name
I assume Loiue was a typo and the OP meant Louie

If so I'd go for that.

I am really unsure on how to pronounce them.
