OH chose baby's first name ( Maddison) so i get to pick her middle name.

I've always wanted to name a girl after my nan as we were so close....Only problem being i'm not keen on her names and neither go with Maddison. Her names are Annie/Betty by the way!

sooo today i've been looking at names and ones really caught my eye - Poppy.
My nana adored poppies too so its a nice connection too.

what do you think then of Maddison Poppy??

Is it a nice name or am i just getting carried away with the connection lol.

I think those two names go together really well. Its a fab name!

I think it works well. I think Madison Ann would flow nice as well. Good luck!!

I think it is a really pretty name :)

I think it's super cute! But I guess it's not what we think that matters, it's what she will think. Do you think a little girl will like the name poppy?

i think it goes well but would you shorten it to maddie? im not sure maddie poppy go well.

I think Maddison Poppy sounds very cute together! So pretty!

You could also use other variations of your nan's names --

Maddison Ann
Maddison Annabelle
Maddison Elizabeth
Maddison Beth
Maddison Bette
Maddison Roseanna

I think it goes well but Madison Anne/Ann or Madison Elisabeth would go equally well if you wanted a stronger connection to your gran.

I love it, it sounds very pretty :) although i do prefer it the other way round ;)

Poppy Maddison

Thanks for all your comments and ideas too :flower:

I still really love the name and am currently working on my OH as he's not 100% on it!!..... I think i can persuade him though lol x
