Hooray, a sweep!

I had a sweep done about 3 hours ago, 40 weeks 1 day.. She said I'm already dilated 3cm and my cervix is very favorable...also that baby's head is super low.. now I'm crampy and bleeding bright red (which is so weird after not bleeding for 9 months) hoping that this helps! I've had a few strong contractions recently as well.

Has anyone else had a similar sweep experience? What was the outcome?

Sounds good. I've never had a sweep before, but fx'd you have your LO in your arms soon.

Good luck! I've had 5 lol. Still no baby! I'm 4cm dilated & easily be stretched to 6-7cms. I've had contractions but never came to anything. Hope it's a better out come for you x

I had a sweep with my last and it got things moving but things slowed. I eventually ended up in hospital the next day and had 3 sweeps, one after another. Baby was born 3 hours later! Good.luck x
