Hi..I have just rang entitled.to.which is turn to us giving information.they did a calculation and worked out my entitlement after my husband working part time earning 7124pound and if I take this job I want part time earning 3000, I am entitled to a childcare of nearly the full amount of nursery.about 30pound I will be putting in from myself.this feels right but I don't know if their working out is right.please advise

I have found their figures to be quite generous unfortunately.
You could try HMRC website for a calculation based on you working part-time.
Also bear in mind that I believe HMRC now hold back an amount until the end of the year to allow for income changes.
You could also still be entitled to housing benefit and council tax benefit as you would still be on a low income.

To be honest hun ive always found entitled to very overly generous, hmrc is more accurate. Hope you get it sorted

I've found entitledto.com spot on for us. I suppose it depends on circumstances though as I never required childcare costs

It does really depend on how accurately your putting in the information as well. Best thing to do is ring your local councils housing benefit dept and ask for a quick calculation to be done.

Remember this is a rough estimate.
