hot bath

Will a warm bath slow down or speed up early labour? I could swear I'm in early labour getting pains and been emptying my bowels, I reeealy want a warm bath but I'm scared it'll either stop things or speed them up too much hahaha x

I think it only slows down contractions if its not real labour, if it is labour then I think your ok.. Not too hot though!

Pp is right, if its not the real thing then a warm bath will make them go but if it is then the contractions will continue but help to ease the pain a little as long as your belly is completely covered by the water.

I wasn't having contractions as such just painful lower abdo and back pain like when your having a period. It was constant and I'd get a few random contractions, I managed to sleep anyway and woke up to nothing lol typical oh and I'm 38+5 x
