Hot Tub and TTC

Question to anyone who has researched or asked their doctors:
My husband and I are away this weekend because its within a day or two of me ovulating. We would like to use the hotels hot tub for maybe 10-15 minutes- would that affect our ability to conceive drastically? I really would like to use it.

It would be fine for you but will kill off alot of his sperm, any man ttc should refrain from hot baths as when the testicles are heated it kills sperm cells (that's why they're stored on the outside of body as they need to remain cooler than the rest of the body!) if sperm are damaged it takes 3 months to replenish his supply!
Some cultures even use hot baths for men as a form of contraception!

If the sperm are already up there are they safe still if I go into the hot tub? Like, let's say they are up there and I ovulate tomorrow but still
Go in the hot tub tonight. Can they be damaged and not
Make it to the egg at ovulation ?

Hmmm I think it's fine as long as your not in there so long as to cause your core body temp to rise.
