How big is/was your 8-9 month old?

My 8.5 month old boy is only 15.5 pounds and about 25 inches long. I see other babies his age or even younger that are bigger than him. I'm just wondering how big your little ones are at that age? The doctor doesn't seem overly concerned but she did stress that he needs to gain weight. He looks healthy. I am pretty small myself (4'10" with a small frame before baby weight).

He's on the smaller side but not too small, esp as you're small. My LO is the same height of 25in and she's 15lb on the nose and she's 1 on saturday but just over 10m corrected

That makes me feel a bit better. I was starting to think I don't feed him enough or something! He is a good eater, I just don't know where it goes.

I am not sure what is average sized, but my girl is about 22 lbs now and I am not sure the length but she was always tall. She is wearing size 18 month pajamas. I am sure your LO will stretch out in no time!

Finn is 8.5mths and last time he was weighted he was 19lb 1oz and is about 26.5inches long. He can still fit into some 3-6mth pants - my little mini munchkin

At 9 month think he was 21lb 4oz and just gone into 9-12m clothes.

I've just had my LO weighed and she is 21lbs 4oz. She started crawling 3 weeks ago and her weight gain has slowed. She is very long long though. Has been in 9-12 clothes for about 3 months.

Dont worry allll babies are different. My LO was born 10lbs 4.5oz and 24.5 inches long!

he now weighs 12lbs 1oz (a week ago, 5 weeks) having him weighed and measured again this week. Hes very long.
