How did you introduce water?

I know Im meant to start offering water to Brandon as Ive now started weaning him...but I dont know how to go about it!

Ive been putting water in a sippy cup and offering him at mealtimes but he just screws up his face & spits it back out!

Can anyone help??

Linds takes water from a bottle... I know I know, for some reason that's not recommended, but she takes it and holds the bottle herself and everthing so... That way I just leave her water bottle on the floor with her and she drinks when she wants it...

Edit to add, she also spat it out at first, I just kept up with it!

yeah sippy cups are the unknown to them so i put water in her bottle - most mums advised me their lo's werent having it out of cup till at least 10-12mths old, x

I did exactly the same but with a doidy cup. After a couple of weeks she started to swallow. Now she gets so excited when she sees her cup, we have to let her calm down before she can take any without spilling it everywhere!
