It was Bank Holiday Monday in the UK. What did you all get up to?
If not in UK, what did you do too?!

It's memorial Monday in the U.S. We're going to take LO to the children's museum and get some lunch at our favorite Italian restaurant :)

Memorial Day here - it's a rainy day (which I think is very fitting, considering what the point of today is about), so I think we're just going to have an indoors adventure. I'm hoping we can catch hubby on Skype, because all of the pictures on Facebook today have me bawling!

I volunteered to work a full day at work! :dohh: Normally, I only work a few hours after hubby gets home, but he's off today. Plus, I'll be making time and a half, so I can't complain too much (although I'd honestly rather stay home as a family!).

Took the children to forest school followed by a picnic in the park. We went with two other families and it was lovely seeing the children all playing together.

I had my 6 week check up. The spent some time with the girls outside, it was so beautiful out. :)

We got together when some friends to barbeque and go swimming. Thankfully it finally stopped raining for the day. We were worried we were going to get rained out as it has been raining almost every day here for about 2 weeks.

We had a BBQ with family and all the kids played in the garden for the day

My mom got into town this morning and we went to a splash pad and park today. Then we came home had a late lunch and my mom dh her son and DS1 went to the school park next to our house while DS2 and I took a little cat nap (; then we went on a walk when they got back from the park came home made dinner and put the kids to bed. I feel like it was very productive! Haha or maybe that's just because family is in town!

We went to my husband's nan's house so she could meet her newest great-grandaughter. My in-laws were over there, too, so the toddler got some Nanny and grandad time. She had fun playing in the garden. Then we went to a fish and chips restaurant (for those in the Midlands, it's called The Finest Catch and it's lovely) for lunch. After lunch we went to Notcutts garden centre to buy some bits for DD's vegetable garden and took her to see the pets. She loves visiting the pet shop! I can't wait until we're in the position for her to have a pet of her own. Finally we visited my parents for cake and tea! No wonder both my girls are still asleep now!

I sat in the house with the LO watching diy sos trying to get him to stop crying for more than 5 minutes 😩 fun fun fun!

Well we took our 20 month ds and the baby to the airport runway visitors centre (ds is planes mad)! Watching them take off and land. Then we had a few hours at the seaside walking and playing in the sand, then when we got home and the kids had crashed out, my mum and dad watched them while me and hubby had a date night (well 3 hours) to go to the cinema and watch the avengers film (we used to go to the cinema a lot) this was one of the first times we had been out as a couple since we've had kids 😬xxx
