How did your nipples change? Color, size, etc

Just wondering what order and how much your nipples changed? Did they get dark all of a sudden? The whole nipple? From the outline in? Did they get drastically bigger? How many weeks were you when you noticed the color/size changes?

Mine have always been very very light and cute, lol, and now they are def bigger, and I swear the outline is getting a few pigments darker than the rest, but still comparatively light, of course I am fair skinned anyway.

I noticed my nipples getting darker from the very beginning! From then on, I tried to NOT notice them. lol. They are definitely bigger now. I think they have been since my tummy started popping out as well. Not a fan. I also get the lovely blue veins! Hooray!

Mine are sort of darker and the nipples tend toward being poked out rather than flush with the rest iykwim
I've also had raised bumps come up around the edges of the areola from about 14-15 weeks. Not sure when I noticed the color change, I think it was very gradual. It's not very striking though, just kind of a "hmm I think they are darker" at this point.

Mine are bigger and darker and unfortunately now different sizes!

It didn't happen overnight... just a gradual change i think.

Mine were a little darker and got quite dark, but now they go back to being pretty light, then sometimes pretty dark... It's weird... I did look in the mirror the other day and I was like "WHOA! My nipples are friggin' huge!!! "

haha nightkd, that made me laugh! I am the same. Mine are huge now and I have the ugly veins too. They are also really dry. The joys of pregnancy hehe xx

I used to have cute nipples they were really really light and small and now they are literally such a dark brown! And massive lol. They keep growing! It started changing at 12 weeks xxx

My are bigger, darker and have more bumps. The bumps were the first sign I noticed pre-bfp.

My DH says they now look more "functional." Hardly sexy

LOL! he calls them functional! You poor thing lol My dh would be getting a slap for that lol xxx

I would do a before and after but I dont think forum people would like that lol
but I had very tiny 1p sized nipples veryvery pink like so light you could barely see them!
Now they are dark brown about the size of a £2 coin sometimes bigger! D: theres abit of colour missing on my left which is weird lol looks like a missing puzzle piece!
and my nipplenipple bit goes BRIGHT red when hard, its weird, like a traffic light.
I'm trying my best not to google why lol

Mine have been growing all the way through. I started out as a 36D and am now a 40F, and still growing. I can't really keep up with the bra-buying

They went dark at the beginning of the second tri. THey still have a pinky centre, but they're mostly dark. They much bigger now too; pre-preg the nipple and areola combined were around 5cm in diameter, and now they're about 10cm - Yuk. And the outline of the areolas are much messier looking, since the pigment seems to have spread outwards into what was my regular breast tissue before. The areolas are bumpy, like they have little spots on them. I was a bit freaked out when I noticed that! Oh, and one of my nipples changed shape, from a normal shape to having a flat end with a random side that juts out. Very weird. I started leaking colostrum at 26+3.

Personally I think they look foul, but it's all part and parcel of getting my baby here, so it doesn't really matter. I don't think my husband likes the look of them too much anymore, but he doesnt' sayit to my face
