Hi everyone, my daughter is 9 months old, and her doctor said i have to stop giving her bottles at night. She doesnt have any teeth yet so I don't have to worry about cavities yet, but really the only way she goes to sleep is by drinking her bottle. And she doesnt want to drink it before she goes to bed, she only wants it if i give it to her in her crib. I heard you could give them water in there bottle instead but, thats not really stopping her from using it in her crib. And when she wakes up at 6:30am to eat should I hold her and feed her then put her back in her crib, I used to give her another bottle in the morning and she went back to sleep. If anyone could help I am greatful!

Is there a reason why you can't giver her water in it in her crib, rather than milk? I assumed your doctor was more worried about her having milk there rather than the bottle itself. If she wakes up at 6.30 I'd take her out of the crib for her feed then put her back down.

I'm breastfeeding so a bit clueless when it comes to bottles but I'm sure someone will come along with some better advice soon.

And welcome to BnB! :hi: x
