im at a loss i have tried everything  any tips would be so helpful thanks :flower:

forgot to say he will be one next month and has only just started to do this :(

Supervision. If he chews something he shouldn't, just say 'no' and swap it for something he is allowed to chew.

You should also provide him with plenty of chew toys and rotate them so he doesn't get bored. Have you got a Kong? These are great for keeping dogs occupied and you can fill them with all sorts (peanut butter, pate, garlic soft cheese etc) and freeze them so they take ages for the dog to 'eat'. Do you give your dog bones? Raw beef marrow bones are pretty safe and will keep a dog busy for days. The marrow might upset his tummy slightly at first, but he'll soon get used to it, just restrict his access at first.

How much exercise is he getting? Is he stressed about anything? A bored or stressed dog will chew more. Chewing releases endorphins for dogs and it is something they need to do.

yeah he has a load of toys a hard ball and also has cow bones (he is a big dog) and they last about an hr tops
he gets plenty of excerises walks on a monibg and night plus running round in the garden all day

i do let him have plastic bottles but i dont know if hey will hurt him

Twix does this too. She runs into their bedroom and steals them off the side!!

Agree with others, kong toys are amazing! Have one for my puppy and she loves it! Keeps her amused for hours
