How do you make up comfort formula at night?

Hi there, just wondering if any of u who use comfort formula have an easier way of making it up at night? I know it has to be made up using hot water, I have a flask but then takes me ages to cool it down, meanwhile it's 2am and the baby's yelling! Any ideas appreciated, thankyou, love this forum

i make mine up with hot water, stick them in the fridge and heat them up again when needed. I dont know if this is the correct way of doing things but its how i do it. Interesting to know how others do. Xxx

I used to make mine up with hot water, quickly cool and store in fridge until needed.

It's much quicker to heat it up than cool it down.

i have the flask of hot water.... but also a bottle full of cold boiled water. i dissolve the powder in an oz or 2 of the hot...then top up to the level with cold.....instantly ready!!!

I also make up mine using hot water, let it cool and then store in the fridge

I make up the feed in advance including adding the formula, then stick it in the fridge and either heat it up in the warmer or microwave

When my LO was on comfort I would take a bottle of cooled water to bed with me, and a pot of formula. When she woke I would add the powder to the bottle, shake and serve at room temperature. But like it says in my sig; I rarely do things by the book. I very rarely make up formula with boiling water

We would put half the water in bottle in fridge, OH would boil kettle whilst i changed bum, add the fomula to the cold water, pour in required amount of hot water and hey presto a ready to drink bottle in two minutes!

We make all bottles this way still.

i make 4 bottles up twice a day. one lot for day time and one lot for nite. make with hot water, cool down and store in fridge. its alot easier than trying to make up a bottle at 2am with a crying baby

My LO is on 7oz bottles. I make up 7oz in 4 oz of hot water. Cool it down and fridge it. I then add 4oz of hot boiled water at feed time and its perfect temp

At night I take up bottles with the sterile water in and the little pots u use when ur out for the milk formula. In each pot I add 4oz which is what LO has and take that upstairs at night then when she wakes for feed i just heat water in bottle warmer which is on my bedside table, then pout the milk formula in and shake and serve! Its so easy!
