How do you shake your bottle?

Might sound a really STOOPID question but how do you shake your Tommee Tippee bottles? Do you shake them with teats on? I've tried shaking with the lid clicked on the white ring but it leaks and the formula instructions say cap the bottle.... there is no cap? So can I just shake with the teat on?

Yes just shake with the bottle fully assembled (teat, ring, lid etc). We used TT bottles breifly with DD2 and never had a leak or problem shaking them like this. xxx

Bottle fully assembled ... Never had and leaking problems . So much handier than the avent because they have an extra ring and I forgot it one day and the bottle leaked everywhere .

We shake with the teat, ring and lid on. Never had any problems leaking x

I was expressing and using an electric pump when LO was born so I got a white screw on lid with the pump- ive been using that as it fits onto all the bottles! but otherwise yeah i would just shake them fully assembled xx

We have TT CTN bottles, i make the bottle up and before putting the lid on i gently shake it to get the air out, then put the lid on and give it a proper shake, this usually stops the leaks x

Thanks ladies... I've just bought some TT lids from boots for storage... they might work too
