How late did your breech baby turn?

Sorry for asking another question in here, but thought it would be the best place to ask.

Baby is still breech. I have a c section booked for when I'm 39 weeks. I'm just wondering what the chances are of baby turning before then? Did your baby turn late on?

About 36 weeks I think. It was painful when he finally decided to do it.

38 weeks. He was transverse for a couple of months, then went breech. Then between 37-38 weeks he would go transverse and then head down almost daily it felt like. At about 38 weeks he stayed head down.

I did do exercises from the spinning babies website though.

Mine never turned, so I had to have a section. He was breech at every single scan. I did the spinning babies techniques to no avail.

I think probably at 34 weeks, but not confirmed until 36 weeks. What have you tried to encourage a turn? The breech exercises from Spinning Babies helped, as did seeing an osteopath (or chiropractor) to have my pelvis adjusted (find someone who works with pregnant women and is familiar with the Webster Technique). Moxibustion is also an option if you can find a reflexologist. Your midwife might even be able to recommend one for you as I think the NHS does sometimes do referrals for moxibustion (though I wouldn't waste time getting a referral, just pay privately). It's as effective as ECV, but less stressful and with fewer risks. Have they discussed ECV with you as well? Would you consider it?

39 weeks 4 days for my DS

DD (transverse) turned head down 38 weeks

Dd2 turned at 40+3, the day before I was due to be sectioned!

36 weeks :)

I tried exercises, a homeopathic remedy, moxibustion :)

My little boy was breech until 37 weeks. The consultant did an ECV which was successful. I did a lot of research before I agreed to it, the risks were low, it was done in the consultant unit and the baby was monitored after. I was so relieved to avoid a section.
