How long did it take you to get pregnant?

Hey!!! I'm ttc for my 1st! I'm 26 years old. How long did women around my age take for a positive pregnancy test?

When I was 27 we started ttc. We fell preggo first cycle but was ectopic. Had a 3 month break after that in the advise of the Doctor, and the fell pregnant first cycle of trying again, and had our son. Second time round not so easy. I was 30 by then. 6 months ttc- fell preggo and miscarried. Then another 14 months trying before falling pregnant with our current pregnancy. I think stress had a lot to do with our struggles though, and the fact I developed a luteal phase defect after my miscarriage. Xxx

I'm 26 and started TTC 1# in November. I had a miscarriage in July (9 months after starting to TTC). We are almost at the 11 month mark.

If it takes you longer than 6 months, please see your doctor for some blood tests.

This is a ttc#1 forum, meaning we (on this form) have not conceived yet.

I'm 27, started ttc at 26. It's now been 13 cycles and still trying.

But rest assured. The vast majority of people conceive within 6 months so you will probably be far luckier than I.

You probably want to post this on the first tri board as most women on the ttc#1 board haven't had a BFP.

Took me 15 months.

16 months and nothing yet for me (including clomid cycles and an IVF cycle). I'm currently 25. Hopefully you have better results than I.

So true! LOL I remember feeling flat out shocked when it didn't happen month 1! Boy I had high expectations and was it ever a let down when it didn't happen month after month, c'est la vie

Imagine expecting it after an IVF treatment! Ha! My expectations to see a line flew the coop so long ago!

Ya, I think I would have high expectations for IUI and IVF too. Seems that's something some of us have to keep learning not to do

My mum is super fertile and caught month 1 with both me and my bro. I hate her too 😉 I think she got fed up of me moaning to her about it though as she did remind me I wouldn't be here if that hadn't have happened 😂 I think ttc turns everyone a bit crazy after a while! (Joking by the way!)
