How long did you bleed vaginally after your c section?

I was told I'd have 6 weeks of bleed.
But I'm on day 11 after c section and am only getting an occasional light bleed now. I am curious if that is normal?
I guess I'm worried I'm not flushing out normally or something ?

Mine lasted about 2 days and then after that just tiny amounts for about a week. When you have a c-section they vacuum you out quite well so there is not much to come out but some people say the got the regular 6-8 weeks of bleeding.

Just be warned, I thought the bleeding was slowing but still get big gushes now and again, triggered by thinks like breast feeding. So stick with the big pads for a while longer!

I completely stopped after 2 weeks. For more than a week, there was nothing. Then out of the blue it started up again and in the end I only stopped at 12 weeks. My gynae said it's all normal. Depends on how well the uterus contracts or not. I bled between 9 and 12 weeks with all 4 my c-sections. Some of my friends stopped after a week or two and never started up again.

Mine died right down after a week or two but continued slowly until 5-6 weeks PP and didn't really fade to brown/pink, it pretty much stayed dark red the whole time. Hoping it stays away now!

As said above, it was heavier/brighter red after BFing or exerting myself.

Everyone is different. although a lot of you ladies bled a really short period of time.
My son was the only one that was a section and i bled 10weeks. there were days its was really light and days it went heavier, i breastfed 5days.

my bleeding was heavy for the first 5 days, then lighter for about 2 weeks, then just very light for another few days.
bfing defo made it gush in the early days along with some painful cramps, but thats a good thing as its the uterus shrinking.

Mine only lasted 3 weeks and then it was completely done. I also BF for 8 weeks

about 4 days this time. haven't had any bleeding for last 6 days, but of course there may be more to come. With DD1 I think it was about 2 weeks.c

I am 19 days in and have light pink stuff. It does vary from day to day though. I am also BF' ing and get slight cramps too. They say BF'ing is supposed to make you stop sooner but I am not convinced!
