How long did your tax credit claim take?

Hello

Ive recently put in a new claim for tax credits, just wondering how long yours took to go through?

I had a right bother getting the form in the first place, I had to go in for a verification interview (which took weeks to even get!).. The reason I ask is because I applied for the sure start grant at the same time (my mistake, as I now know i'll just get a letter rejecting my claim as im not receiving tax credits yet) so I need to re-apply when i'm getting tax credits. There is a deadline for this though.
