How long do you stim for?

For IUI I stimmed for one week, both times.

For IVF I am now on 9 and have two more days to go. For some reason I am just not responding like before???

Think the process is longer stimming for IVf over IUI - how are you finding it? How long did you down reg for? I start next week... eeek!!x

Hello!!

I stimmed for 10 days. They will scan you regularly during stimms to see what they think best for you (judging by size of follies, hormone levels etc) My nurse said it is usually between 10-14 days of stimms. But saying that everyone is different! When do you start? Lolly xxxxxx

You know, I don't really know what down reg means? I was put on the pill for three weeks and have been on suprecure for about 3 weeks now.

Been stimming now for 9 days. Ups and downs really. Hormones make me a bit emotional. Bit worried about my follicle numbers, only 6 at the moment.

It so hard, never thought it would ever come to this!

hi it all depends on how you respond i stimmed for 7 days x

mrs jpc try not to worry lots of follies doesnt always mean lots of eggs they stopped me stimming because i was at risk of ohss and had 20+ big follies but only got 6 eggs retrieved with 5 mature, im pretty sure theres more chance of more mature eggs with less follies x

Start down reg injections on 2nd March (this time next week). The length is really playing on my mind - got training days at work, have not told them and it is compulsory that I am there as we then have exams the following month. So got to be in Oxford on the 16/17th April... wondering whether the IVF will get in the way?xx
