leave your LO in an activity centre/jumperoo etc at any one time and how old are they?

we started doing 10 minute stretches but she'll easily go longer before she complains but i don't want to hurt her back or anything. She still needs a pillow underneath her because she doesn't touch the floor yet bless her!

Daisy is in her for up to 30 minutes, i know she would stay in longer but I feel guilty! So I take her out and play of the floor with her xxx

I the morning we leave Kathryn in the jumperoo for about 45 min, that way me and DH can get a bit more sleep and have a little cuddle (on DH's days off). When DH is working we put her in for half an hour while we re getting ready. I also put her in during the day in 45 min blocks (or less if she's cranky) so that I can get some cleaning or laundry done. I don't feel guilty because I know that she's having so much fun in her jumperoo, if she wants out she'll let me know.

Kathryn can't bounce yet so after about 10 mins she gets fed up unless i bounce her!

depends what mood he is in-some times he'll be in it for ages not wanting to be taken out...other days he'll only go in for 15 mins.

Brooke is still small so i let her stay in it for 10 mins tops.

I leave Ellie for about 15mins shes not properly bouncing in it yet so she gets abit bit fed up but it gives me time to either put my face on in the morning or thrown dinner in the oven.

Courtney bounces like mad in her jumperoo and loves it, so I take her out when she whines... she can last 30 mins at least..!! :)

I leave him in untill he let mes know he wants out!! I sit next to him sometimes and still talk and play with him anyway

i just leave summer until she whinges, she prefers her play pen thingy now as she can crawl about in it but cant get up to mischief and she has loads of toys in there so she likes that.

i think it's about your judgement cause all babies are different - so long as they arent spending stupidly long periods of time in these things its fine

i let maddi tell me when she's ready - she loves spending time in her jumperoo, walker and activity station, though i like her playing on the floor, though she now snakes and rolls every where :dohh: x
