How long does an lh surge last?

opk result: Line near invisible
cervix position: High (unreachable)
cm: Wet, slightly stretchy, ew

cd: 17
opk result:line strongest it has been but not of equal strenght as control.
Cervix position: High (unreachable)
cm: Sticky, slightly stretchy, clear not ew

cd: 16
opk result:line there but not very strong
cervix position:medium
cm: Watery

so i suppose my question is have i likely ovulated, going to ovulate, and if so when is it likely to have had happened?

according to the OPK results you haven't ovulated yet. keep testing, you may find yourself surprised as to when the actually do O. LH surges can last from several hours to 2 days (my last surge lasted for a full two days, it was crazy)

As above, but they can also be very short and that dark one you had may have been an hour or two out on a positive... it's hard to say if that could have been your positive day (but not positive test) or not to be honest. How long are your cycles? It may be the right day for you...
