I had a misscarage early hours monday morning, so 2days ago. I was 6 weeks and 3days pregnant. It happened by itself, it was horrible. Ill never forget what i saw. Im still in complete shock i think. I go from crying to angy to guilty to numb then back again:cry:

My questions are,
Im still bleeding quite a bit (no clots) how long is it suppose to last?
I still get stomach cramps every now and again is this ok?
When will i start to feel better and stop randomly crying :(
Also i know i wasnt that far gone but has anyone ever got themselves a little keepsake? I have 2 early scan photos but i cant look at them yet. One i only had done 3 days before i lost my baby Xxx

I think I bled on and off for about 6 weeks, it seemed to stop a couple of times and then started again.

I can’t remember exactly when I started to feel better but it did take time and even now I still have sad moments.

Don’t feel as though your loss doesn’t count as much as others, you still lost your baby. We got a cherry blossom tree in a pot which we will plant when we buy our forever house but until then we can take it with us. There are lots of things you can do to commemorate your baby though. There is a charity which does memory boxes for hospitals to give to parents but if your hospital only does the ones for later losses like mine did you can contact the charity and I believe they will send you one. https://4louis.co.uk/what-we-do-and-how

I’m so sorry for your loss.

I’ve had two losses, one medical and one a missed miscarriage. For the natural one I bled for about 7 days. My midwife told me the back cramps were normal, similar to the ones I experienced during labor. Your body is working to expel everything and it’s painful at times. Emotionally, it’s even harder. I think I cried every day for two weeks. Then I found something to channel my energy into. For me that was exercising once or twice daily. I worked on making my body the best it could be before I conceived again. Wishing you the best.
