Does it change depending on age and amount if milk?

How long does it take, say, in first month when newborn?

Does it change day and night ?

Just asking out of interest really. I'm bf and feed very often. Sometimes only 15 mins and night feeds tend to take half an hour.

Wondering how this compares to making and feeding a bottle of formula?

As they get older they get quicker at taking the bottle. DD would take 30mins+ to feed when newborn. Ive found BFing till be a LOT quicker, even though its more frequent x

I used to pre-make bottles and will again. So really it's just the feeding time which with Miss could be anything from 5 minutes to an hour depending on her age (so how much she had in the bottle) and whether she was being fussy or too busy nosing at what was going on around her.

When the kettle is boiled and at the right temperature making a bottle only takes a minute or so, then 5 mins cooling time. My LO's feeds can be anything from 15mins to half an hour, depending on burping time

twenty minutes at most. I keep water at room temp in bottle and add formula as needed. So that takes a minute or two at most..

Half an hour down from an hour so far but DD is a tricky feeder with some medical issues thrown in ;)

FF was a LOT quicker than BF for me.. LO would feed for anywhere between 2-3 hours then start again after 30mins-1hour when BF!!

Once I switched to FF at 5 weeks, making the bottle and feeding it took about 10 mins, and she went 3 hours inbetween AND STTN.

Now she holds her own bottle and is done in a few minutes.
