Hi,

I'm 29 and dh 27. We're both fit and healthy with no identified fertility problems. I was wondering how long on average it takes to conceive? It seems everyone one around us feel pregnant straight away no troubles! We haven't been trying that long but just wanted to hear your stories please. Here's ours:

End March 2011 - stopped bc
April 2011 - NTNP, 28 day cycle
May 2011 - Started charting, checking cm and cervix, 28 day cycle
June 2011 - Charting, checking cm and cervix, 28 day cycle
July 2011 - Charting, checking cm and cervix, OPK, 26 day cycle

Thanks all and baby dust to you all!:flower:

I'm on month 20 of no ovulation or periods. :nope:
I'm 21 and hubby is 24.

I have an appointment next Wednesday and going from there.
Prior to TTC I was on the depo shot.

Good luck on your journey, and much baby dust to all!!!

Hey, there! :flower: !

OH and I have been NTNP/TTC for the better part of three years, now. I am about to be 23, OH is about to be 26. All but one of his of-age cousins (his brother, as well) are pregnant/new parents. So, I sit here, like, ":\. Gee, I'm happy for you guys, I really am. But, what the heck did you DO?!?!? Share your secrets with me, PLEASE!!!!"

We are waiting on an appointment, as well. OH does not have the best medical record, so, best to have things looked at.

Much :dust: to One and All! :hugs: !

You only have a 25% chance of getting pregnant each cycle. If you don't conceive within a year if you under 35 see your DR, if you don't conceive within 6 months and your over 35 see you doctor. GOOD LUCK!

Yes, the average couple takes them a year to conceive. That is why Doctors wont run any tests or worry about possible infertility issues until you have been trying for at least a year.

DH(29) and I(26) have been ttc for a little over 3 years. DH sperm is good and my cycles are very regular. On time give or take a day now and a then. I finally too the jump to have an HSG done since pregnancy rates are high after completed. July was the first month we tried after the HSG was done and we finally got pregnant, showing a 2 separate faint BFP's at 10 and 11 dpo. However, that pregnancy sadly ended in a chemical.

So, now I know I can get pregnant thanks to the HSG (I had a nasty blockage that was flushed out). I am very optimistic about the next cycle. I figure the chemical pregnancy was more than likely due to a horrible UTI I had gotten. Loaded up on AZO and antibiotics (I was miserable).

So, don't throw in the towel now, but if there is one thing I really recommend, its the HSG test. It is non-invasive and effective and takes only 5 min.

Best of luck to you in your TTC journey!!!!

I'm 28 and DH will be 30 soon. We been TTC for around 18 months now.

Both of us did loads of tests and everything came back normal. I also did HSG which didn't show any blockages but it didn't help me conceive either.

Was given 1st cycle of IUI last month but it resulted in BFN :(

^If you're looking at general stats, this is what I would say too.^

GL!

We've been trying since the endof October 2008. So this coming October will be 3 years trying for #1.
I've had 3 chemical pregnancies. The first one in Sept of last year.
2nd one occured at the beginning of Feb this year, and my 3rd was May.

I MUST do injectables to ovulate. Well, used to at least.
After my 3rd m/c, I actually ovulated on my own in probably YEARS.
This is my 2nd cycle ovulating on my own and waiting to see if it's a success or not (feeling out though).

We've been trying for 2 months now. I'm 20 and oh is 24, having a strangely light af so far this month so waiting to see what happens over the next couple of days before I test.

My AF too is off this month. It started saturday morning and the first day was what I expected, heavy!. But since I had the chemical, I had clots. But, 24 hours after my AF started, I have slowed down almost to a halt. Not usual for my AF. It is now 72 hours since AF started.

We have been trying since January now. Hoping this month is the one!

hi thought id let everyone know what i did, me and my OH decided to try for a baby so i came off the pill as normally for a week had my period but didn't take it again, i didn't do anything special but i didn't take no risks or leave anything to chance now i know the best time to try is 2 weeks after period but again i didnt want to risk missing the ovulation day, so me and my OH had sex every other day for the whole month so i knew his lil swimmers were constantly inside me and wouldn't miss the egg ;) and on the day my next period was due i took a test and got my BFP :) give it a try it worked for me :)

good look to everyone hope you all get them BFP's really soon baby dust to all xxxxxx

I am 27 and DH is 32. We have been married for about a year and a few months now, but together for 10years this year.
We have been NTNP since Nov. 2010 and TTC Since Jan/Feb of this year.
Its a frustrating process and very long due to my long/irregular periods. I have never been on the pill and would have never thought it would take this long. Hopefully this is our month!!
Good luck everyone!

I am 22, my husband will be turning 24 in a couple of weeks. We have been trying to conceive for four months now. AF is due tomorrow unfortunately (and I've already gotten negatives, ugh), so we will be going on our fifth month. Hopefully it happens soon!! Starting to get a little impatient lol.

Me and OH have been ttc for 10 months now, (this would have been the 11th), but today I got my BFP :)
