How long is the IV in for?

Thanks Im okay with having the cannula put in, its actually watching the fluids go into me that scares the crap out of me. So if they have it set up but with no tube in then im okay with that

I requested an epidural, so I had the IV in the entire time I labored, and until I could prove I could pee twice. lol I pushed myself to pee twice within like 4 hours after labor and got that damn thing out. I wasn't hooked up to fluids the whole time. Just until the baby popped out. After that it was just locked in case I needed fluids/antibiotics/etc.
