How long should you have a positive OPK for?

Evening ladies!!

2 questions

I started my surge yesterday and got my first blaring positive this morning (which for some reason I can't stop staring at?) and 2 others throughout today. (CD20)

So ... How long should I expect to still see pos OPKS?


And .. 2nd question is when am I due to OV? I had an almighty pain in my left sign so assuming that's linked to ovulation. ??

I've always been told that when your surge starts you will ovulate 12-36 hrs after that. My surge this past time has lasted a couple of days but is just now staying to fade
