How long was your hospital stay after second C-Section??

I am due my second section in 3 weeks time. Just wondering how long you were kept in after your second?

Hi Hun,

With my first a emcs I was in for 4days but with my 2nd only 18months later I was only kept in 2days after. Recovery seemed much quicker too

With Both my C-sections I was in for the same amount of time, 4 nights.

With my 1st i was in for 2 days, with my 2nd i was discharged after 24 hours, they needed my bed, but 3 other mothers that had normal deliveries and had already been in 3 - 4 days but where not comfortable going home as they where breast feeding and wanted help got to stay and i was kicked out !! My 3rd i was in 3 days total, 1 day before my section and 2 days after.

72 hours is the standard where I am, but for my second I was in for 4 nights instead, only because I was breastfeeding and my daughter had jaundice so needed the extra time under the lights.

This will be my first section in the UK. My last one I was in for 4 nights but it was in another Country.x

I was only in a few days had the section on the Thursday night and was out on the Saturday evening

I was in 2 nights with both of my sections, had both babies on a Friday and was home Sunday afternoon.

I was in for a week but there was other factors such as one of my boys was underweight. Hopefully you won't have to stay in long xxxx

1st baby = 4 nights
2nd baby = 3 nights
3rd baby = 25 hours

I stayed for 24 hrs after my section, it was my second section which was an emergency
