Hi,
Looking for some positive thinking. I went 2 weeks overdue with my DD, I had to be induced as I had no braxtons, no contractions, no twinges, no nothing.
I am now 40 weeks today with my 2nd baby. For the past 7 days I have had on and off contractions, I was 1cm dilated a week ago but baby was not engaged, cervix was still hard and quite high up (so I'm told). I went for a sweep yesterday which has so far done nothing, but was told baby is 3/5 engaged, my cervix has lowered and softened so the contractions are doing something and my body is just getting prepared. I am just so fed up of waiting now. The back ache and pelvis ache are horrible and I am hoping I dont have to wait much longer as I am hoping for a home birth but this isnt possible if I have to be induced.....
So really just writing for some positive experiences or if anyone knows how long.... although how long is the same as a piece of string!!
