How many boobs does your 6mo have in 24hrs?

Between 6am & 6pm, my son only has 4 feeds, 2 on each breast.
Between 6pm & 6am, he has anywhere between 2 & 6 feeds.
He is on my breast for roughly 10mins at each feed.
Im freaking out that now he is on 3 "meals" a day, plus snacks, my boobs are gonna give up
I really wanna breastfeed til lo is at least 1 year.
I just wondered how this "compares" to your boobie monsters? This whole weaning thing has thrown me!

Nurse before every meal, the amount of time they nurse for means nothing, as they get older they will nurse less, because they become "better" suckers.

Also, at 6 months he doesn't have to be on 3 meals a day plus snacks unless that's what you want. Breastmilk can be the main source of food until a year. We used food for fun, we offered at meals, no snacks until she was a year old (again its a person choice which route you go)

We also start 1 meal at 6 months, 2 meals at 8 months, and 3 meals at 12 months, instead of all three at once.

at 6 months i'd say my daughter nurses between 4-6 times.

Yes, by 6 months she really just nursed when she woke from naps in the morning at night occasionally when she woke in the night And before meals.

Sophie nursed about 8 times per 24 hours at 6 months. At 8 months she nurses about 6 times on average. Usually 4-5 between 7am and 7pm, and (this week...was more last week) 1-2 times overnight.
