How many should I buy?
On the one hand, too many will mean they are hanging around maybe.
But not enough could be annoying!

I am going for the Tomme Tippee closer to nature range.
Will be buying a pack of 6 powder dispensers. My steriliser takes 6 TT bottles.

How many would it be best to buy??

How many feeds to babies take a day and how long can I leave boiled cooled water in a sterilised bottle?? (without the powder as it will be added when needed)

We make up 4 at a time now, but she is now going 4 hours between feeds, when u start your LO will probably be less than that, so maybe 5/6? That way u dont have to keep sterilising in those early days!

I have 3 bottles, & i dont think we need more.

i have 7, my mum said thats how many i needed really if i didnt wanna be sterilising all the time :)
xx

i work with 6, usually i make up 5 feeds at a time and keep the 6th in case i am going out and want to use a carton -

I feel lazy now lol

I have 8. I have a cold water steriliser which takes 4, so there are 4 in the fridge and 4 in ther steriliser.

This worked well as Earl used to have 7-8 bottles in a day, so It meant I wasn't constantly making bottles.

I would also recommend Mothercare's Sterliser bottles  They go individually into a micriwave to sterlise (no steriliser unit needed) so if you're going away they're really convenient!!

I started off with 4 large bottles (8oz) and 2 smaller ones (4oz). I reckoned I wouldn't use the smaller ones for too long but that they would do for water etc later. Once she had outgrown those I got another 2 larger ones, so I've always really worked with 6. I usually had three filled with water waiting for powder to be added and three in the steriliser.

With the milton tablets I use, the bottles stay sterile for 24 hours after they come out of the steriliser.
