How many IVF'ers have no tubes??

Hi ladies.
I am just wondering how many of us will be needing IVF due to tubal issues/no tubes? I had my 2nd tube removed 2wks ago due to ectopic again. I have read that chances of success are much better with IVF when there are no tubes? and also i have shown that me an dh have no issue with eggs and sperm or with implanting, just did it in the wrong place sadly.
I am 29 and dh is 30. I managed to get pregnant twice in 6mths. Do u think my chances are good with IVF due to these factors? We have not even had our first fertility appt yet but we are hoping to start IVF after xmas, all being well. Anyone else in a similar situation?

my tubes are 99% blocked, might as well have none.
every cycle there's 1% chance i get preggers, but we also have low count on swimmers,
so yeah...virtually..very little chance

like you i've had an ectopic, my doc said that proves i can get pregnant and my body
can do a pregnancy, it was just growing in the wrong place and had no chance of going full term.
so knowing that, he has very high hopes that if we implant one in the right place, it'll stick.

he told me "definatly before the end of the year", that's 2 or 3 cycles approx, i hope he's right

Hi Sarah.....just found out from my new FS that I will most likely have more success with IVF than IUI....so I think that might be the next step for me too. Sending lots of your way!

I am just about coping tbh... Feel mre positive today though so that's good
we are going to have a break from all the pregnancy related stuff intill next yr as i think my poor body an mind and dh have been thru enough this year.

Hi girls.. I am also back to LTTTC from TTCAL. Got a lap this week - was diagnosed with grade 3 endo, little bit polycystic ovaries and congestion of tubes (doc doesnt know what it is but is some kinda infection). I have also been told that my chances are excellent with IVF and natural/IUI might not work bcos tubes are not fully functional. Am not too excited with the IVF idea but beggars cant be choosers

Africa queen- welcome back. Personally I think ur chances with IVF are almost 100%

I am thinking more positive about the IVF now as dr said i have no issue implanting, our babies just implanted in the wrong place. So hope once we have them in the right place that they will stick xxx
